Andre is currently the VP, Product at Kitch, a SaaS product looking to make every restaurant amazing at delivering food. Kitch was acquired by Glovo. Andre is also the founder of One Month PM, a product advisor of Shilling.VC and professor at Catolica Lisbon. Andre is a product operator experienced at leading product management, product design, engineering, growth, product marketing, and product operations teams. He built products across different startup stages (0-to-1, bootstrap to $30M VC funding, up to selling a company), and hired & managed from 1 to 50 people within cross-functional teams in companies from 4 to 300 people.

How will coaching shape the future of product over the next 5-10 years?

From becoming a MUST feature for every product leader to becoming a service accessed from even more junior PMs. With tech, coaching can become a sync+async customized experience that follows you contextually.

What are some of the most effective frameworks you've used when coaching leaders in your area?

1. OST: using opportunities trees to breakdown paths towards an outcome. Whether that is hitting an OKR to solving a team issue. 2. Humanized storytelling: using past experiences seasoned with an impacting storytelling approach can improve the retention of a leaders’ lesson

What's your best advice for product managers looking to increase their impact?

1. Find the best manager you can, someone who believes in your potential and makes you part of their OKRs 2. Consume diverse content from the right people, and study their patterns 3. Focus on company growth + impact of mission over sexyness of product 4. Ask extensive feedback and retrospect often to iterate on yourself. You are a product.
